This full moon brings in Winds of Change, sacred transitions and powerful cosmic activations as it fully shines it’s light in the zodiac sign Gemini, a sign guided by the planet Mercury. This moon is upgrading all of us to a higher vibration of communication, with ourselves and with each other. It cautions us to be aware of and appropriately manage and positively moderate our thoughts that create feelings, and feelings that create thoughts, becoming a more conscious Co-creator. It encourages us to be spontaneous and more at ease and trusting in our response to invite deeper, more harmonious heart connections.

This is a time, at the end of 2024, for gratitude, celebration and closure, illuminating anything that needs to be nourished and given attention so as to come into fruition in 2025. It is a time for release and letting go of anything in the way of filling your dreams, using your insight and intuition into what else is possible as you reflect and surrender under the light of this full moon. It is an ideal time for creating beautiful altars and ceremony to call in and connect with the unlimited potential and personal and professional growth and expansions unfolding. As you take the time to be still and reflect on your year passed, this lunation invites you to be a conscious observer of what you are co-creating with the thoughts that shape your reality, making a decision about what stories and limitations you are ready to release and transform. Witness both the high and low vibration stories moving through your mind and the thoughts that shape your life and make a choice right now under this full moon to consciously create change by changing stories that limit you.

At the time of this full moon, the Sun shines across the cosmos in the sign of Sagittarius which is ruled by the planet Jupiter, assisting you to expand your capacity to radiate your own light, so you can magnetically attract all that you need to reclaim the gifts of your soul that are waiting to be retrieved and activated.

Mercury stations direct at the time this moon reaches fullness. This planet assists you with sacred insights, assisting you to be aware of the choices you have to support the changes calling you. This planet, or Grandfather Mercury as I like to refer to, guides you to be mindful of all you thinking and feeling, taking you deeper into the world below to find hidden truths and sacred insights and to reclaim you soul’s gifts that you may not have had access to activate until now.

This full Moon supports you into optimistic thoughts and positive change as you offer yourself at the altar of this year, giving thanks for who you have become, acknowledging the journey – good and bad, desired and undesired – intentionally bringing it all to a close and in that closing, opening to what awaits you in 2025.

Sacred Mandala Wisdom

The crystals in this mandala are almost the same as those used in the New Moon as they still fit so well. Amethyst is the crystal that assists to harness and harvest the wisdom of the Cosmos, and rose quartz harmonises the energies by bringing them back to a vibration of beauty, compassion and love. The selenite hearts connect us to the love, support and guardianship offered by the archangels, and the clear quartz serve to activate and generate high vibrational energies needed to see the way clearly and support the massive changes occurring at this time.

Remember to listen to your heart and come from a place of compassion of love rather than judgement and fear when you face conflict. Resist the urge to gossip and blame, and instead search for the sacred truth that has activated a need for you to call in the Wind of Change in the East to support you and embrace change rather than resist and delay it. Be brave and optimistic and go with the flow in a spontaneous rhythm that is in tune with your highest potential. Take time to be still under this full moon and trust the universe and your Creator to bring the balance needed to nourish your soul as well as your heart.

This is a great time for creating a visionboard – either close to the new or full moon. Step to Create Your Own Mandala

Gather your crystals or objects to create your mandala. Let your intuition guide you. You will need nine of these for your foundational circe. If you take any objects from Nature, search for those on the earth if you can. If you pick anything from plants and trees, make sure you give thanks as you go. I like to greet and ask a blessing to do this from the spirit of the plant or tree.
Find the right place in your home where you can lay out your mandala. Lay out a cloth as a base.
Create a circle of Intention by marking out the four Cardinal Directions, East, North, West, South. Each direction will have an association. Choose and object to represent each of these directions. For now, you can use the directions I teach to guide you, however you may develop or be taught other directions. In Australia, the sun moves from East to North, to West, to South, In the Southern Hemisphere, it moves from East, to South, to West to North. It is best to layout your mandala Sun-wise, according to where you live as this is the way energy moves. The aspect of each cardinal direction is explained in the next step.
East is Spirit, the place where you are reminded of your identity, values and purpose. North represents your Body and world of Physical Health and Wealth and world comforts. West holds space for your Heart and loving connections. South guides your Mind, communication and focus.
The Centre is your intention for creating the mandala. All other directions support this intention. Choose an object to represent your intention for today, or for the week.
Place other objects around the centre creating a circle as you join the four directions. You can call in what you need to support your quest and/or each direction (supporting your spirit, body, heart and mind) with each object that you lay down.
It is always a good idea to bring gratitude into your mandalas. I like to surround the mandala with a circle of gratitude for what I have supporting me. This can take time. You can integrate gratitude as you lay out each direction. Keep it simple or make it as complex as you like.
If you have cards for guidance, you can shuffle them and ask for a card for each direction to guide you as to what you can do today to walk more consciously and to support your intention. I do this every day, using the mandala to hold this energy. I change my mandalas each two weeks to clear and refresh the space in my home.
Stand back and look at you mandala and absorb its energy in to your own field with your breath and intention. Connect with the central intention that you have named and say a co-creation mantra of invitation: I invite in (name your intention) today, may it find it way to me now with ease and grace, let it be so, and so it is, thank you.
